Vlad Mizikov’s fascination with the body and movement came as a result of extensive practice of Yoga. Practising Yoga over the last twelve years has allowed him to notice how posture and habitual movements can result in dysfunctional tension-holding patterns and pain. Vlad underwent an apprenticeship with the esteemed holistic therapist KRI Jagdish, which led to further studies in functional anatomy, biomechanics and neural patterning. He completed a Bachelor of Health Science specialising in Musculoskeletal Therapy, complementing the insights gained through Yoga to view the body as a whole, integrated system. His use of therapeutic techniques considers both evidenced-based practice as well as the subtleties of posture and function. Vlad currently practises from Lisbon and Goa as a Clinical Myotherapist addressing a vast range of neuromuscular conditions.
